OK so I've been watching to many sailing movies... First Muppet Treasure Island and this weekend we went to Chronicles of Narnia, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I must say... it was probably my favorite Narnian Adventure... movie-wise.
It.Was.Awesome!
In case you didn't figure it out from the first movie or reading the books, this one totally shows that it is about stories in the bible and that C.S. Lewis was a Christian author that used these tales of the Narnia as a way to teach his children about god! This movie totally shines that... especially at the end!! However, the religious aspect of the story didn't take away from the pure awesomeness of this sea adventure in Narnia!!! Totally recommend it even if you don't like the religious background of it all!!
With my side tracking review of the movie out of the way, lets get to some weather shall we?
Weather Story

Erin's quick look into forecasting:
There is a low that is setting up in Wyoming and Montana right now. As we move through the day the low is going to progress into the plains up through South Dakota and into Minnesota by Tuesdays early morning hours. The models are showing that this storm system is a very wet storm system. the models are showing the storm producing heavy wet snows and accumulations up to 8-10" in some places. There wont be much wind associated with the system its self. However, there is a chance that the winds will pick up on the back side of the system and will cause some blowing snow in places like North Dakota and South Dakota were it is flat.
The snow should be starting here in North Dakota soon... if it hasn't already... *looks out window* Yup it has! SNOW HO!
